Organizing Model of Change
Our model moves through a cycle of Remembrance, Radical Imagination, and Critical Action, grounded in naming systems of oppression and working toward interpersonal, economic, and spatial repair. This is not a linear path; it is an ongoing, spiraling process of creating change, where people can enter, re-enter, or begin at any point in the cycle.
Remembrance: Uncover legacies of colonialism, slavery, and violence against marginalized communities in our histories, ancestral stories, and social identities, and reclaim authentic personal, family, and community narratives from those at the margins.
Radical Imagination: Map, visualize, and design entirely new futures, systems, institutions, and relationships rooted in collective liberation, joy, and authentic dignity.
Critical Action: Use democratic governance and community-led processes to create lasting, systemic change while centering the leadership of those most impacted, historically and presently, by the issues.
