Jasmine Awad is a forensic social worker and youth development specialist who has earned her MSW from Columbia School of Social Work in 2023. She is passionate about youth justice, prison abolition, and advocating for individuals impacted by the prison and criminal legal systems. Jasmine strongly believes that we need to invest in our communities to build true sovereignty, safety, and security for Staten Island.
